The Value Of Invisible Service

John 1:40-42

40Andrew, Simon Peter's brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. 41The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, "We have found the Messiah" (that is, the Christ). 42And he brought him to Jesus.
Jesus looked at him and said, "You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas" (which, when translated, is Peter).

No one remembers that Andrew was the one who brought Peter to Jesus. So much has been written about Peter but little about Andrew. Andrew is an example of the value of invisible service. He was serving God even though no one sees or remembers his actions. True ministry begins behind the scenes when our eyes are on God and not on the praises of man.
